With school starting, we come to think about what our children have done in the past year. Whether they achieved a lot academically or not. We would like to encourage them to do well in all aspects of school.
I for one am all for encouraging the kids to do well in sports as well as in their school work. So this year I would like you to support your kids in the sport of their choice. Netball season will be starting up again and it's time to get them training. Even just a few drills can keep them on their toes. Try out some of the drills that I have listed in the Netball Drills section.
Running around the court, and also shooting practice too.
Spend some quality time with your kids by practicing their sports with them, it'll be fun!

The Silver Ferns won against their rivals Australian Diamonds in the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi.
It was a fight to the finish. It was Tutaia who made that brilliant shot in to the goal to secure the gold for the Ferns. The The mighty diamonds fought a well played game, but it was the Fern's that wanted the gold more.

It's in beta mode so if there is anything that doesn't make sense please let me know in the suggestions area.

I managed to watch the highlights of the game between New Zealand and Australia. I must say it looked like a great game.
Australia just managed to pull ahead of the Silver Ferns in the last quarter. My hat goes off to all the woman playing for their country. It's a hard game. You've got to be quick and think ahead and on your feet.
Hard luck New Zealand. Great victory Australia!
